A father, war hero, teacher, Gospel singer and songwriter all describe Kevin Myles. But if asked to sum himself up in three words, he would choose--"man of God." His love for the Lord and music are demonstrated with passion in his first CD release, "In His Presence." Having sung in secular venues prior to giving his heart to Christ, Myles has always been a lover of music. Today his voice is being used to inspire and encourage. His messages are for both the believer and the lost.

"I want my music to reach young and old," explains Myles. "As an ROTC instructor I see young people everyday in desperate need of the love of Christ. Through song, I can reach them and share a message they have never heard before."

The beats and energy of several cuts on "In His Presence" do just that. Myles incorporates contemporary music with his messages of salvation and hope. He encourages the believer to take advantage of their "Freedom" in Christ while drawing the unsaved to strive for what he has received in the cut "Saving Me".

When not singing and serving at his local church, Life Christian in Troy, Michigan, Myles can be found working with the young people at the Detroit high school where he works. His military history and success are great lead ins to Myles sharing salvation with young people. Having returned home alive and whole after three tours of duty, Myles is a walking testimony of the power of prayer and the anointing of God at work in the lives of his children.

Kevin Myles served his country in the armed services for over 20 years prior to retiring. He is a widow, and the proud father of three daughters.
